Where is the Tumblr iPhone app?
(Even though it’s almost unnecessary because the web app works just great on the iPhone.) The real gain would be in the overall EASE involved, and in being able to make posts instantly and then have them uploaded later vs. having to load the website first.

Good news for me at least. I just noticed that about 85% of the visitors to my various websites were using screen resolutions HIGHER than 1024x768. In fact, the most popular was 1280x800.
Now, clearly, the people I’m getting are almost certainly NOT the average soccer moms of the world—so these stats are very skewed by a certain demographic. But still, it’s really great to know...

I think they are right. I mean, while I do think the whole Obama cover was a shameless attention-grab by The New Yorker (almost embarrassingly so), it is obviously satirical. It should be a shoulder-shrugging event, not a vote-changer.

My Thoughts on MobileMe.
After a few brief hiccups on the first day of the new MobileMe service from Apple, I am so far thoroughly impressed with it. The push syncing works great, and already seems more reliable than the old .Mac sync. Time will tell if it’s truly stable, but I’ve got high hopes.

Tumblr Tip: Gmaps as "videos"
Just realized (with my last post), that you can put Google Maps inside the “video” entries in Tumblr. Works fine. I suppose you could put them in regular text posts too, but I thought it was worth sharing.
