Just wanted to give a brief update on what’s going on with me these days. I’m getting ready to leave my job at Range, and start work for another web company with some really great potential. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed my time at Range. I’ve learned a lot, made some good connections and some really good friends. But it just felt like it was time for me to move on.
At my new job for Guerilla Development, I’ll be doing marketing and promotion, along with UI design and client “liaison” stuff, which I’m really excited about. Time interacting with actual people really turns me on. I’m OK with long hours in front of the computer, but I really get my juices charged by working with people. So hopefully this new job will be a good combination of both of those functions. Oh, and we’re planning to release some kick-ass web apps, which will be really fun.
AND, I’ll also hopefully have more flexibility in my schedule which will enable me to pursue my passion for photography with more gusto. Very excited about that.
Anyway, that’s what’s up with me. Change is good.
