I finally got my new site done.  I’ve poked at it off and on for a few months, and I finally finished it up last night. I completely re-wrote it from scratch, using the new (as yet unreleased) SlideshowPro Director API (which is totally amazing…more on that later.) 

Couple little features to point out: 
1) Any photo can be sent to a friend. Hover over an image to see the button in the upper right. The recipient receives a nicely formatted HTML email of that specific photo, along with whatever message their friend sent with it. 

2) Titles and captions also appear on hover, with content from Director of course. (Don’t have many input yet though. More coming).

3) The Director API enables me to serve-up on-demand, perfectly optimized images for the iPhone. So the iPhone basically gets it’s own version of the entire site, and all I had to do was write some conditional CSS and a tell Director to give scaled-down, optimized images. 

4) I’m planning on implementing a slideshow option for people that want to view a gallery that way. Probably do them with javascript though, instead of Flash. I’m just tired of Flash. 

Anyway, hope ya like it. I’ve still got a fair amount of tweaking to do, and some messing around with images. Also need to get some new stuff up there.
