Very impressed with this new site and branding. It’s so…restrained. So much of Disney’s stuff these days, particularly on the web, tends to be so gaudy and outrageous and over-the-top. This is down-right refreshing. 

Also, for those that didn’t know, John Lasseter is now Chief Creative Officer of both Pixar and Disney Animation, as well as Principal Creative Advisor at Walt Disney Imagineering. In other words, if Disney is going to return to it’s former glory, creatively, this man will be steering the ship. I think he’s probably about as close as you can get to an actual modern-day Walt Disney, and I’m excited to see what Disney produces under some truly great creative direction. So far, just about all their upcoming projects look like they have some great potential.
