1) Bring back the Dashboard filter. I miss it. Many people miss it. It was a handy handy thing. Especially now that Tweets can appear in my Dashboard. Filtering by type was a really great feature.
2) Private Tumblelog Enhancements. Such as…
3) Bigger than 500px wide images! It’s 2009. Lots of us would love to be able to display bigger images than 500px wide on our tumblelogs. And it would make image-based themes (like mine) much more feasible. Couldn’t we push that limit to 800px or 1000px?? I like the limitation… I’d just like a bigger limitation. :-)
4) A better-optimized iPhone view. Now that the dashboard itself is wider (which we love)… it would be great to make some adjustments to the iPhone stylesheet/viewport settings to match.
5) Accesskey attributes on the anchor tags that makes up my list of tumblogs that appears in the upper right of my dashboard. Wouldn’t it be great to just hitCTRL+1, CTRL+2, CTRL+3, etc. to pop through to your various tumblelogs (and now Twitterlog™)? Yes it would. Plus, with the accesskey property, there is no downside… geeks get a thrill and non-geeks never even know about it. Heck, you could even give the post buttons their own (T, P, Q, L, C, A, V)!
That’s all I got for now. Lovin’ Tumblr more everyday, just pitchin’ in some ideas.
Great stuff from Ben,...stand out for me is “private blogs”
