Pearl Jam or Nirvana?
This one is for my friend Greg. I’m putting it out there for the masses.
I personally don’t feel that it’s a zero-sum question. I think it’s fair to say that both bands were(are) enormously influential and both were(are) amazing. But I am curious to see what people have to say. So, have at it… Pearl Jam or Nirvana… and why, if you don’t mind expounding.

Nirvana. There are many reasons to this but Cobains voice is by far the most important. And I saw them live! With Sonic Youth! Unforgetable.

Pearl Jam is organic… theyve evolved, and still deliver. That’s subjectively very satisfying. Nirvana, was a splendid bang-n-fizzle.

Pearl Jam. I do not think that Nirvana would have lasted like Pearl Jam has. PJ is still selling out arenas and putting out great records.$
