I’m out. Italy, here I come.
We leave tomorrow for two weeks in Italy. Our good friends John Rizzo and Donna MacDonald live there and we’ve been trying to make a visit for a long time. This is MaryAnn’s first trip to Europe at all so it’s doubly exciting. We’re staying in a small town right in the heart of the Barbaresco wine region. Believe me when I tell you that I’ve strongly considered remaining there as long as I possibly could. But since we’re leaving the kids here this time, I may actually have to return home.
Anyway, the map above is a Google Map embed. Feel free to move it around and explore. (We may or may not be waving to you from down below.)
I’ll post images if I get the chance, but I’m not promising anything. I think the decidedly untechnical world of Northwestern Italy will be refreshing and therapeutic…although I’m sure I’ll return home with untold gigabytes of new images and who knows how many rolls of film. Can’t wait.
See ya in two weeks.
